“European Belarus” activist Syarhei Kazakou arrested

Siarhej Kazakou managed to inform his friends only that he had been detained and delivered to the Akrestsina detention center.

The representatives of the Frunzenski district administration of internal affairs conducted the so-called "conversation" on the December 19 events with the activist last week. According to the policemen, his mobile number was registered in the center of the city in the Independence Square area that night, reports "Viasna".

Kazakou had said nothing against himself during the conversation, but was detained today upon unclear circumstances.
