Is Khimvolokno accident hushed up?

A spillage of Dowtherm A has taken place at Khimvolokno republican unitary enterprise in Svetlagorsk.
Charter97.org website has been informed about that by a viewer.
“On October 2 at Khimvolokno enterprise (Svetlagorsk) an accident took place. A pipe supplying Dowtherm A, a mixture of 25% of biphenyl and 75% of diphenyl oxide was split,” a reader informed.
A rescue squad from the Emergency Situations Ministry arrived to the scene. Everything was poured with foam. Then everything was covered with sand. No one knows where the sand was taken later, the viewer stresses.
“People have not been evacuated, they were made to continue work in the same conditions. Everyone was taken bad, people got sick and became dizzy. Several persons fell unconscious. Three persons were hospitalized. People still feel the smell of Dowtherm A.
The production foreman does not stay inside, and even if he comes, he stays indoors for just a minute.
Rumours are that there are plans to reincorporate Khimvolokno as a joint-stock company. And this process is in high gear now. That is why everything is hushed up, in order not to provoke a scandal.
And what about the people? Lots of young people work there, and maybe today or tomorrow they are to become parents!
As far as I understand, until a person dies, an accident is not considered an accident, is it?” asks our reader.
