Arrests for solidarity with political prisoners

The Tsentralny district court of Minsk heard the cases against participants of yesterday’s action of solidarity on October Square.

Activists of European Belarus civil campaign have been sentenced to short terms in custody.

Former political prisoner Syarhei Kazakou was given days in custody (judge Alyaksei Bychko), Aleh Rakhouski –7 days (judge Valery Yesman), Alyaksandr Saldatsenka –7 days (judge Alyaksandr Khadanovich), Aleh Rahouski –7 days (judge Viktoria Shabunya), Halina Paddubnik –7 days (judge Alena Syamak).
