A police report was drawn up in Babruisk against the head of the People’s Assembly organizing committee, Kanstantsin Loktseu, over an administrative offence.
The activist is accused of organizing an unauthorized event (People’s Assembly) on October 8 and participating in it.
“It’s clear that we will be punished. The court will determine the degree of my guilt in holding the People’s Assembly in Babruisk. I was told in police that I would be informed about trial date either by summons or on the phone. The report was made by captain Hancharou. He also drew up a report against Viktar Buzinau. He will stand trial tomorrow, November 3,” Kanstantsin Loktseu told Radio Svaboda.
Members of the organizing committee and head of city’s department of the United Civil Party Viktser Buzinau were detained in Babruisk during the People’s Assembly. Police accuse Buzinau of committing the same administrative offence as Loktseu did.
Police also drew up a report against Halina Smirnova, a member of the United Civil Party. She has not been summoned to court yet.
