Yanukovych, Medvedev, Lukashenka to meet in Chernobyl

Viktor Yanukovych, Dmitry Medvedev and Alyaksandr Lukashenka may hold a meeting on April 26, the 25th anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster.
As Interfax-Ukraine news agency learned from a source in diplomatic circles, as preliminary known, the three leaders are to meet in the town of Chernobyl.
“The leaders of the three neighbouring countries plan to meet in Chernobyl to pay tribute to victims of the Chernobyl disaster,” the source told the agency.
What for the Kyiv Summit on occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Chernobyl accident, Secretary General of the Council of Europe Thorbjørn Jagland, UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, Director Generalof International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Yukiya Amano, President of the European Commission José Manuel Barrosso, and President of Poland Bronislaw Komorowski gave their prior consent to attend the event.
