At last Lukashenka met Russian president in Sochi.

After a cardsharper’s three-move combination with agreeing on a loan on security of Belaruskali, receiving a promise to decrease gas prices and a stunning refusal to follow through the loan agreement the Belarusian leader received a possibility to beg for money personally from the leader of the neighbouring country.

As the press-service of the Belarusian leader informs, the meeting of Alyaksandr Lukashenka and Dmitry Medvedev is taking place in Sochi.

“The leaders of the states are set to discuss the whole range of bilateral Belarusian-Russian relations, the urgent issues of world agenda, the issue of integration building in the post-Soviet territory,” a spokesman Pavel Lyohki noted.

We remind that Lukashenka arrived to “lie in wait” in Sochi a day before a scandalous statement of the director general of Belaruskali Valery Kiryenka at a press-conference last Thursday in Salihorsk.

Not a single ruler in the world can boast of such a “let down” of Russia. One can understand the desperate gesture of the Belarusian dictator: the extended session of the National Bank’s Board is scheduled for late August. A decision on dollar exchange rate and the further course of the country’s economy are to be adopted there. In other words, “we really feel the need for money”.
