Silent rallies’ organisers make demands to authorities

“Revolution through social networks” campaign has prepared its demands for the regime for September 21.
“Only fulfilling requirements of the nation one can change something,” the organisers of the rally say.
Demands:
- To guarantees immunity of citizens’ deposits and savings;
- To hold wage and salary, pensions and allowances indexation as of May 2010 and the market exchange rate of the Belarusian ruble;
- The exchange rate of the National Bank should be firmed in line with the market costs, and not by administrative pressure;
- Wide and open public discussion on economic and political situation in the country: debates in state-run media with participation of the authorities, opposition, experts and economists;
- Immediate release and rehabilitation of all political prisoners;
- To stop crackdown on political opponents, public leaders, journalists and human rights activists;
- Real actions for saving the Belarusian language;
- Free pass in public transport for students and schoolchildren all over the country, not only in Minsk;
- Free sale of currency, without IDs and registration of purchase and sale transaction.
Another silent protest rally is planned for September 21, Wednesday, in Minsk and on the regions.
