Artsiom Prakapenka was permitted a long-term meeting

At the end of December the parents of the political prisoner will have a long term meeting with their son.

The permission was provided by the administration of the Mogilev colony No 15, where Artsiom Prakapenka is serving the term, Radio Racyja reports.

The mother of the political prisoner Vialeta Prakapenka reported about that.

“They have given us a day. Somewhere around 20-ies in December. We will be able to give him a 30 kilos parcel. They have not permitted to take anything out. There still remains the limit of 100 thousand roubles for the purchases in the shop. There were no calls for a long time. And yesterday he gave a call. It seems like everything is peaceful, but he would not say anything over the phone. The father will go visit, may be something will become clearer then”.

Artsiom Prakapenka was sentenced together with Yaugeni Vaskovich and Pavel Syramalotau for 7 years in prison for an attempted arson of the door of the Bobruisk KGB office. On 27 September this year Pavel Syramalotau was released after having written a plea for pardon to Lukashenka.
