Marathon of Solidarity with Ales Byalyatski in Kovel (Photo)

A human rights activist Uladzimir Malej and the chairman of “Youth” Malaryta club of marathon race Alyaksandr Lyadzinski have taken part in the marathon in the city of Kovel, Ukraine.

Belarusians, Ukrainians, Poles and Russians arrive to take part in the marathon on Victory Day. It has become a tradition, Viasna human rights centre’s website informs.

Uladzimir Malej had a black T-shirt with the image of Ales Byalyatski and a slogan “Freedom to Ales Byalyatski!” on. In this way the human rights activist reminded, that 67 years ago parents, grandparents of people living in our country won, but not for human rights activists and politicians to be imprisoned.
