Lukashenko offered Bangladesh "the way to Europe"

Alexander Lukashenko meets Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh Dipu Moni today.

Belarus proposes Bangladesh to build up strategic bilateral relations. It was stated by the Belarusian leader at a meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh Dipu Moni today. In regard to mutual trade, the President noted that according to the results of the last year the turnover amounted to about USD 140 million. The two states have a lot of common things to establish mutually-beneficial cooperation. The countries uphold similar political views for global processes and support each other in the international arena.

Dipu Moni in turn emphasized that the countries have a lot in common. Economies of Belarus and Bangladesh are complementary. Thus, Bangladesh looks to active cooperation.
