Head of Hockey Federation Vorsin wants to resign

Yauhen Vorsin has asked to organize a special conference and consider the issue of his resignation there.

A meeting of the Belarusian Hockey Federation has taken place in Minsk this Wednesday. The performance of Belarus national team at the recent world championship was one of the main issues on the agenda.

The conference is supposed to take place at the end of June or at the beginning of July.

Yauhen Vorsin has also been offered the position of head of the board of directors of the 1014 World Ice Hockey Championship that is supposed to take place in Minsk.  

Eugene Vorsin was elected chairman of the Belarusian Ice Hockey Federation on March 18, 2010.

His candidacy was pushed by hockey club "Gomel" and "Dinamo-Minsk" and Gomel regional public organization "Federation of Hockey".
