Prices on petrol rose

Retail prices for gasoline and diesel fuel, sold at petrol stations, have risen up by 5% on average since June 8.

Now gasoline Normal-80 will cost Br6.350 per liter, AI-92 - Br6.650, AI-95 - Br7.150, while diesel fuel - Br7.300 and diesel fuel Euro-5 - Br7.950.

At the same time the concert said claims that the revision of prices of petroleum products aims at "a phased approach to the prices of goods in the Customs Union, as well as improvement of the efficiency of the Belarusian oil refineries to enable further modernization of production."

Given the latest increase in prices, the latter still remain 3-9% lower than the current retail prices in Russia.

As charter97.org reported, it is not the first rise of motor fuel prices in Belarus since early 2012. Thus, gasoline prices went up in April and March.

Meanwhile, in 2011 the price of gasoline rose 11 times.
