Belarusian driving Porsche with Soviet symbols denied entry to Lithuania (Photo)

A 26-year-old Belarusian communist had to return home.

Lithuanian border guards noticed Soviet symbols on a Porsche 996 with Belarusian registration plates – a yellow sicker, a hammer and a star on the red car hood. The driver, 26, had no problems with documents, ru.delfi.lt reports.

Public demonstration of Soviet and Nazi symbols is prohibited in Lithuania, so border guards told the Belarusian they could not allow his car to enter the country.

The Belarusian communist was offered to cross the border on foot or by bus. The man refused, to do so and was denied entering the country.

Demonstration or spreading Soviet and Nazi symbols in Lithuania can be punished with a fine of 500-1000 litas (180-350 dollars).
