The number of opposition representatives in district election commissions is ridiculously small.
The Central Election Commission of Belarus (CEC) said yesterday 68,900 people became members of district election commissions. The number of representatives of opposition political parties is only 61 people. The website charter97.org counted opposition activists in the district election commissions represent approximately 0.09% of the total number of commission members.
Taking into account that 6304 polling stations were formed across the country for the “parliamentary election”, only 0.96% of them will have one opposition member.
