Youth activists detained in Minsk

Brothers Andrei and Aliaksei Dvaretskiya are in the jail in the Akrestsina street in Minsk.

The youth activists were detained by police on 22 September, the human rights center “Viasna” reports.

They were taken to the Partisan district’s police department, were protocols of an administrative violation were composed. So far it is unknown what exactly Andrei and Aliaksei are accused of.

Last year both brothers were detained for participating in the “silent protests”.
