Eduard Lubau said to his mother that he might be punished with cancelling a short-term visit scheduled for February.
He said it during a phone conversation, Radio Svaboda reports.
“We had a very short conversation. I planned to call the penal colony next week to arrange a visit. Eduard said he might be deprived of a visit, because he had a violation. They are considering now how to punish him. He didn't tell what violation he had committed,” Maryna Lobava said.
It's unknown when Eduard Lobau committed the alleged violation. It may have happened any day since December 31, when he called home.
“It may be anything: being in a wrong place, unbuttoned clothes, improperly greeting. They can always find faults,” she said.
The mother of the political prisoner reminds that Eduard Lobau had 7 violations by the end of 2012. She says most of them were far-fetched.
Eduard Lobau asked his mother to thank all people who sent him Christmas wishes and words of supports and solidarity.
Eduard Lobau serves his 4-year prison term in a penal colony in Ivatsevichy on accusations of hooliganism. Zmitser Dashkevich and he were arrested a day before the presidential elections in 2010.
