President of Ecuador to visit Belarus on October 31

The president of Ecuador, Rafael Correa, is to visit Belarus on October 31, reported the newspaper Today in Ecuador with reference to a source in the Presidential Administration.

According to the paper, Mr. Correa will also visit Russia and France.

Mr. Correa's tour will begin with a visit to Russia's St. Petersburg, where he is scheduled to arrive on October 28, the newspaper said.

Mr. Correa will then travel to Minsk to pay a return visit: Alyaksandr Lukashenka visited Ecuador in June 2012.

Mr. Correa is to stay in France between November 6 and November 8.

He is to return to Quito, on November 9.
