50 hectares of Mogilevtransmash plant filled with unsold products

3,000 unsold trucks stand in the territory of MAZ's subsidiary.

“I have been working at Mogilevtransmash plant as a plumber with the qualification rank IV for six months. When I found this job, I was promised payment of 3 million rubles for the first month and a higher salary later. It was lies. We are like slaves here. I wanted to quit, but I and other workers were said we cannot do it until our employment agreement expire. If you have worked for 8 years, you may get a promotion – this is the plant's policy,” the worker says.

The reader complaints about working conditions in the workshop – there's no ventilation.

“We used to receive bonuses and milk for unhealthy working conditions. But now we don't have it. They even reduce our vacations. The shop supervisor receives 15 million rubles. The area of 50 hectares is filled with unsold trucks. At least 3,000 MAZ trucks stand at the plant area I can see, but the entire area is larger. When Lukashenka was going to visit the plant, they hid the trucks somewhere to show that they sell their products. In reality, no one wants to buy them. The plant takes loans to pay wages,” the worker added.

We remind that a reader informed charter97.org in late May that more than 20,000 tractors were hidden at the Minsk Tractor Plant and the plant's test station in the village of Obchak.
