Bread prices go up 10%

The decision was made by the Ministry of Economy on the proposal of the Ministry of Agriculture and Provisions.

The information comes from the Ministry of Economy’s decree number 70 as of 26.09.2013.

“The decree on the proposal of the Ministry of Agriculture and Provisions provides for the bread price increase by 10% in October 2013. The types of bread affected are rye and rye-wheat bread, bakery made of wheat with the content of sugar and fats below 14%”, - the Ministry of Economy notes.

It is the matter of the price administration on the kinds of breads and bakery, produced by simple recipes without the use of additional raw materials, and belonging to the lower price group. The decree sets the price of 3116 to 6002 roubles per kilogram.

The Ministry of Economy’s decree number 70 as of 26.09.2013 comes into force from the moment of its official publication.

This is the third time the bread price grows in 2013.
