Ukrainian prime minister to visit Belarus

Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov is to arrive in Belarus on Monday for a two-day official visit, according to the website of the Ukrainian government.

Mr. Azarov is expected to meet with Alyaksandr Lukashenka and Belarusian Prime Minister Mikhail Myasnikovich.

A number of documents are expected to be signed as a result of the talks.

Mr. Azarov is to visit several Belarusian enterprises engaged in the agricultural sector and the farm produce processing industry, the defense industry and the production of seafood.

He will also lay a wreath at the obelisk in Victory Square in the Belarusian capital city and at the Eternal Flame at the Brest Fortress Memorial.
