Lukashenka declares Ksenia Sobchak persona non grata (Video)

The Belarusian ruler severely criticised officials and demanded to ban entry to Belarus for a Russian TV anchor.

According to a source in Lukashenka's administration, his criticism was caused by nominating Lukashenka for the Silver Galosh Award.

One of his aides proposed to sue the organisers of the ceremony for a parody version of the song “Belovezhskaya Pushcha”.

We remind that the 17th Silver Galosh awarding ceremony was held in Moscow's State Kremlin Palace on October 30. One of the ceremony presenters was Ksenia Sobchak. The award for “the most dubious achievements” was founded by Silver Rain Radio. Lukashenka was nominated for plagiarism of the year. The Belarusian ruler was accused of copying Putin: Lukashenka said he had caught a 57kg catfish just after the Russian president caught a big pike.
