Dictator accused the West of provocations at the border


Lukashenka has spoken of threats again and demanded to reinforce the protection of the borders.

He said that at a meeting on the confirmation of the decision on the protection of the state border of Belarus in 2013, BelTA reports.

As the ruler pointed out, the issues of border safety were repeatedly and in different formats went over.

“The motives for that were the anti-Belarusian policy of sanctions on the part of the West, provocations at the border, as well as the aggravation of the problems of the protection of the borders. It all requires  special attention and a serious analysis of the current system of  the protection of our frontier, - Lukashenka said. – The situation with the latest border violation led to the necessity to implement strict personnel changes. I also gave respective orders on improving the system of border protection and developing the interdepartmental coordination in that sphere”.

The ruler emphasized that special attention had been paid to developing measures on increasing the effectiveness of the work of the Border Control Agency; now the time has come to look whether the orders are being followed fully and qualitatively.
