Tariffs for the transit of oil products will be increased again

Belarus will increase the tariff for pipeline transportation of oil products by 12% on 1 April 2013, reads the resolution of the Economy Ministry as of 11 February 2013.

The document instructs “to set the tariff for transportation of oil products through trunk pipelines located on the territory of Belarus operated by the private production unitary enterprise Zapad-Transnefteprodukt at $2.34 per 1 tonne per 100km.”

Today the tariff for pipeline transportation of oil products is $2.09 per 1 tonne per 100km.

The new document has been adopted in accordance with the agreement between the Government of Belarus and the Government of the Russian Federation on cooperation in the use of main oil pipelines located on the territory of Belarus as of 8 June 2004 and Decree No. 72 “Concerning some issues of regulation of prices (tariffs) in the Republic of Belarus" dated 25 February 2011.
