Officials want to live luxurious life

Officials from Vitebsk want to buy a minibus with tinted windows worth $85,000.

The regional executive committee put a request for proposals on the official website of the National Centre for Marketing and Price Study, onliner.by reports.

The standard 10 seat vehicle costs $67,700 in Belarus, but the package of documents contains a long list of additional features that increases the price to approximately $85,000.

The Vitebsk regional executive committee wants the following additional features: privacy glass, the right power sliding door,  3-zone climate control (Climatronic), a radiator cover with chrome elements, Bi-Xenon, a  leather multifunction steering wheel allowing to control the radio or a mobile phone, a leather gear knob and a leather parking brake handle, a cigar lighter socket and ashtrays for smokers.

The source of financing is the region's funds.

The tender is open from March 7 to March 27. The auction is scheduled for April 4.
