The vacations of the Belarusian dictator cost the budget a lot.

On 22 March Lukashenka went from Singapore, where he arrived with a delegation of 80 people, went to pay a visit to UAE.

Where the Belarusian ruler’s retinue lived in Abu Dhabi this time and how many people it included is not specified by Lukashenka’s press-service.

It is known that in 2007, during his previous visit to UAE, Lukashenka together with his retinue stayed in one of the world’s most luxurious hotels - Emirates Palace, Salidarnasc reports.

This complex belongs to the authorities of the city and the management is provided by Kempinsky hotel chain.

The hotel’s building is a palace of a fairy-tale beauty with traditional Arabic architecture. In the center of the palace complex there is a huge dome, tiled with colored mosaics. It is surrounded by smaller domes, altogether there are 114 domes and each one of them is decorated with a golden steeple.

Apart from usual rooms there are 92 suites in the hotel. Their interiors could compete with royala palaces in luxury. All the rooms are decorated in Arab style and equipped with latest technical novelties.

Several years ago several Belarusian journalists has an excursion at the Emirates Palace. A manager took the group to the sixth floor – to the suite where the former British Prime-Minister Tony Blair stayed. A night in such a room cost more than 10 thousand dollars at the time. In the next door suit, the guide noted, Vladimir Putin had stayed.

The manager recollected Aliaksandr Lukashenka too. Accoring to him, he had stayed one floor higher, which meant that he had stayed at the level where exclusively sheikhs owned the apartments. The manager notes that it was on their invitation that the head of Belarus was a guest there. By the way, the top floor of the Emirates Palace is not available to be observed by mere mortals.

This time, in March 2013, according to the ruler’s press-service and pictures from UAE on the government news agency BelTA’s web-site, Lukashenka’s meetings took place in Abu Dhabi.

On 25 March at the meeting with Abu Dhabi emirate’s crown prince, the deputy supreme commander of the armed forces of UAE, sheikh Muhammad Ben Zaid Al Nakhayan.

Judging from the picture, the meeting took place at the Emirates Palace too.
