Director of Planeta hotel commits suicide

He has jumped out of the window from the 8th floor.

The Investigation Committee has created a commission that will try to define the cause of death, BelTA reports.

The death of the director of the hotel is being investigated now. The main idea is suicide, but alternative versions are also being considered.

Valery Ahirenka was the director of the hotel. Planeta belongs to the President’s Administration.

Ahirenka died after policemen in bullet-proof vests had come to him, a witness told Radio Liberty. “The policemen said that ‘everything was covered with blood in his flat and that he had cut his wrists’,” the woman said.
