Miloshevich’s banker has become Belarus’ honorary consul

Belarusian authorities keep close relations with Dragomir Karich, known as a former banker of a Serbian dictator Miloshevich.

This is the case despite the fact that the Serbian friend’s investment opportunities are not so great today, and Karich himself was noticed working for Itera, where he was responsible for development projects, including the failed Minsk-City one, AFN reports.

Only in the last year Karich has grown from a public representative of Belarusian Chamber of Commerce on Serbia to the level of an honorary consul of the Republic of Belarus in Belgrade.

“Belarus’ Minister of Foreign Affairs Uladzimir Makej handed in a consular commission to Belarus’ honorary consul in Belgrade (the Republic of Serbia) Dragomir Karich today”, - Belarusian MFA’s press-service reports.

In December 2012 Lukashenka expressed gratitude to Karich, who is known as a major investor/intermediary in investment projects in Belarus and is also known for inviting Lukashenka to a business forum in Serbia.
