BChD activist received warning

Pinsk BChD coordinator was warned against acting “on behalf of an unregistered organization”.

Pinsk coordinator of the Organizational Committee for Creation of the Party Belarusian Christian Democracy Siarhiej Sukhavierkhi was ofiicially warned by prosecutor’s office against acting “on behalf of an unregistered organization”, BChD’s press-service reports.

It is notable that the phone call and a request to come to the prosecutor’s office took place in two days after Sukhavierkhi had applied to executive authorities for registering his initiative group for running in elections. The phone call and the warning were made by the deputy inter-district prosecutor of Pinsl Liudmila Suprun.

At the same day Sukhavierkhi’s mother was called to the place of her employment to Malotkavichy boarding school, where he was expected by the deputy chairman of Pinsk district executive committee Iosif Palkhouski to speak to her so the mother influenced Sukhavierkhi to take back the application for registering the initiative group.
