Huge traffic jams on the eastern border of Belarus

On the border with Russia police and customs checks have been reinforced so it causes huge traffic jams.

As the charter97.org readers reported yesterday, the Belarus customs made a complete check of vans going from Russia in direction of Minsk. Frontier guards and customs officers are trying to prevent illegal transportation of fuel and other goods. For example, overnight into December 5 four cases of illegal trafficking of consumer imports were detected and in three of them the dwellers of Homel region were transporting fuel above the norm.

The detailed trucks checkout caused huge traffic jams at the border. Users of social networks made kilometer-long queues known.
