Activists of the European Belarus civil campaign demand the release of the opposition members arrested ahead of the Ice Hockey World Championship.
As charter97.org has learnt, portraits of Zmitser Dashkevich, Maksim Viniarski, Aliaksandr Frantskevich and Illia Dabratvor appeared on advertising columns in Minsk centre.
The opposition activists were detained last week and sentenced to up to 25 days in custody. One of the arrested, European Belarus's coordinator Maksim Viniarski, has been on dry hunger strike since the trial. He was detained on April 22 and sentenced to 12 days in custody.
Nine more activists detained on a rally on March 26 were tried and sent to a detention centre yesterday.
