Lukashenka visits the village of Otar in the Chachersk district today.
A small milk processing plant will be constructed here, Komsomolskaya Pravda v Belarusi writes.
Official information about Lukashenka's visit to the Chachersk district appeared today, but the local authorities knew about it beforehand and were preparing for the visit. Eyewitnesses say many state officials were cleaning the streets, painting fences and curbs and picking up garbage. A “team” of government employees was sent to the farm in the village of Otar to take part in minor repair works.
According to eyewitnesses, the village and all roads to it were blocked, as well as the highway. “Men in black” are searching rare passers-by, while most villagers do not leave their houses:
“The streets are silent. There are many cars and special vehicles. They also cut grass on the field for Lukashenka's helicopter.”
These are usual preparations for Lukashenka's visits.
