Tsepkala needs SUV worth $110,000

The Hi-Tech Park Administration, a government agency, wants to buy a luxury Audi Q7.

The request appeared on the website of the National Centre for Marketing and Price Study.

The government agency needs a luxury crossover SUV 4LBOGA Audi Q7 3.0 TDI. The administration counts to buy a car for 1.1 billion Belarusian rubles, or $110,000 dollars.

The tender documents were signed by H-Tech Park head Valery Tsepkala.

The Hi-Tech Park Administration is a government agency that doesn't have the right to buy cars at a price higher than 25,000 euros. However, it is possible to bypass the ban by buying a car “at own expense”. It's interesting why the Hi-Tech park has a spare billion and how Valery Tsepkala managed to get it.
