15 Russian organisations to partake in military expo in Minsk

15 Russian organisations are to take part in the 7th International armaments and materiel expo MILEX 2014 that will take place in Minsk Arena on 9-12 July.

It has been reported by the Federal Service on Military and Technical Cooperation of Russia.

The organiser of the Russian exhibition, Rostekhmologii state corporation, has occupied 625 square metres (the entire floor space of the expo is 13,000 square metres), BelaPAN informs.

Out of 15 Russian organisations, 10 present products for military purposes, including 4 subjects of military and technical cooperation: OAO Rosoboronexport, OAO NPK Uralvagonzavod, OAO NPO Splav, OAO NPO Pribor. 218 exhibits of products for military purposes are to be presented in total.

OAO NPK Uralvagonzavod is to present a modernized tank T-72 with a fire-control system and a foreign made imaging infrared system.

The Federal Service for Military and Technical Cooperation hopes that the International armaments and materiel expo MILEX – 2014 will make it possible to strengthen business ties of Russia with foreign partners in the military and technical sphere, the message of the FSMTC reads.
