Andrei Molchan, an activist of the civil campaign European Belarus, was one of those who raised a white-red-white flag at Volnaye Pavetra festival.
Belarusian national white-red-white and Ukrainian blue-and-yellow flags appeared in the tent camp at Volnaye Pavetra festival on July 5. Police officers ordered to hide them. People refused to obey and asked why they could not raise the flags. Finally, the flags were removed at request of the organisers.
One of those who raised the flag was Andrei Molchan, an activist of the civil campaign European Belarus. Radio Svaboda took a video of the incident:
