Ukrainian sportsmen not allowed to enter Belarus

Two players of Motor handball club were denied entry to Belarus.

The tournament Belgazprombank Cup has finished in Brest. The Ukrainian team Motor had several players who had earlier played for the closed Dinamo Minsk HC. Two of them – Ukrainian citizens Mykola Stetsyura and Dmytro Doroshchuk – were denied entry to Belarus for the administrative violations they had committed earlier. The handball players learnt the news only before they were going to depart for Belarus.

Ukrainian Motor won Belgazprombank Cup yesterday. Belarus's champion, HC Meshkov Brest, was defeated by Motor Zaporozhye 28-30 (14-15).
