Lukashenka, Nazarbayev and Putin have confirmed their readiness to meet with the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
It has been stated by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Ukraine Valyantsin Vyalichka (Valentin Velichnko), UNIAN reports.
“Putin, Nazarbayev and Lukashenka have confirmed [their readiness to meet with Poroshenko], it has been got across by our president and brought to the notice of Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko,” Vyalichka said.
The Ambassador noted that the date and the concrete format of such a meeting have not been agreed upon by the sides yet. In particular, a possibility of participation of delegates from the US or European countries are considered.
“They would like representatives of the US or the Council of Europe to be present there in case the meeting takes place. When an agreement is reached on the format of this meeting in the process of negotiations, it is to be announced. The government of Ukraine has been informed about that,” Vyalichka said.
