Su-25 crashes in Lida district

“At 11:50 on September 30, a pilot of a Su-25 aircraft of the 116th assault air base of the Air Forces and Air Defence Troops lost control of the plane in an emergency situation during the scheduled exercises (flights).

The pilot assured that the trajectory of the fall was outside populated areas and ejected. He was found by a rescue team. There are no reports of casualties and damage. The pilot was not injured.

A commission has been formed to find the reasons for the incident,” the ministry says.
