Andrei Sannikov: Heroes Alone Dare

Those who took part in a protest action on October 11 in Minsk are heroes. Their names will remain in the history of independent Belarus.

Andrei Sannikov, the presidential candidate in 2010 elections and former political prisoner, wrote it on Facebook commenting on the protest action in Minsk.

"I take a low bow to everyone who came out to the Square in the centre of Minsk and took the rout of 2010 year, he said. - Thank you for your dignity and courage. Thank you for you to defend honour of the country and confront this tough regime. You are heroes, and your names will remain in the history of independent Belarus and the world history of fight for freedom! Zhyve Belarus! ("Long live Belarus!").

It should be recalled that participants in the protest action with banners "Boycott of the dictatorship" and "Lukashenka, go away" in their hands walked from Kastrychnitskaya to Nezalezhnastsi Square and took part in pray for Belarus near the Red Church.
