BSU Head Of Chair: We Want To Live in USSR
Valery BAJNEU

The head of Chair of Innovation Management of the Belarusian State University Valery Baineu believes that the Soviet economy was “by the order of magnitude more effective.”

Yesterday the Soviet Union and its legacy were discussed in the TV programme “Matter Of Principle” at ONT channel. Among the guests of the programme there was the Head of the Chair of Innovation Management at the BSU Valery Bajneu, Nasha Niva informs.

“It is a standard old liberal record. We have been listening to this old liberal record for 25 years, while crises, wars, devaluation, defaults, terrorist attacks, civil wars are taking place around. For how long could we mislead the youth?!

As compared to the Western economy, the Soviet one was by the order of magnitude more effective. Look what the West has: a money printing press, colonies. Americans had been sitting out on the island during the World War II. Not a single bomb was dropped on them.

As a result, in fact we created the number two economic system in the world. Amid the blockade, amid hardships,” Valery Bajneu said to TV audience.

“If a person does not like to live in a country, he would not vote against it by a ruble, or a dollar, or a ballot paper. They vote by the most precious thing they have – their lives. When the Soviet Union disappeared, number of population started to dwindle, we do not want to live in a country other than the Soviet Union,” the professor of the BSU added.
