Application for Chernobyl Way rally to be submitted on April 10

The first meeting of the organising committee to prepare the Chernobyl Way rally was held in the BPF headquarters on April 7.

Organisers approved the preliminary route of the march: participants are expected to gather near Kastrychnik cinema from 14:00 to 15:00 and walk to the Chernobyl Chapel in Peoples' Friendship Park from 15:00 to 16:00. No meetings on Bangalore Square are planned, Belorusskaya Pravda reports.

The application to the Minsk city executive committee will be signed by Illia Dabratvor, a representative of Razam solidarity movement; Aliaksei Yanukevich, the chairman of the BPF party; Vital Rymasheuski, a co-head of the BCD party; Zmitser Kuchuk, a representative of the Belarusian Green Party. Yury Hubarevich, a representative of For Freedom movement, and Tatsiana Novikava, a representative of Ecohome movement, haven't decided yet whether they will sign the application.

The organisers plan to submit the application on April 10.

The next meeting of the organising committee is scheduled for April 14.
