National Bank tightens control over banks

The situation of Delta Bank and a number of other Belarusian banks made the National Bank tighten financial control in the banking sector.

The bank's regulation No.228 of 13 April 2015 introduces a new reporting form “Additional information on balance accounts”.

One of the reasons for the bankruptcy of Delta Bank was concealing information from the regulator about transactions with external contracting parties, AFN reports.

The regulator obliges banks to provide additional information on balance accounts every month.
