Hlybokae journalist fined 25 basic units for historical work

Dzmitry Lupach was charged with “illegal manufacturing and distribution of mass media products.”

The journalist from Hlybokae, a member of the organizing committee of the Belarusian Christian Democracy Party Dzmitry Lupach, was fined by the court of Hlybokae 25 basic units (Br 4,500,000).

He was found guilty of violation of the law on mass media and Article 22.9 Part 2 of the Administrative Code (illegal manufacturing and dissemination of mass media products) on the grounds the item posted at Euroradio website, called “Relatives of border guard, who died in Hlybokae district on September 17, 1939, found”, charter97.org was informed by the press-service of the organizing committee for creation of the Belarusian Christian Democracy Party.

“The lawyer torn arguments of prosecution to tatters. But Judge Kazak, who is also presiding in the district court, cut a speech with arguments short and delivered the verdict,” the coordinator of the BCD in Vitsebsk region Tatsyana Sevyarynets noted.
