At football match in Brest riot policemen searched not only spectators, but players as well

Before the home game with FC Shakhter (Salihorsk) on July 6, football players of FC Dinamo Brest were searched near the entrance of the stadium.

At 6 p.m. a bus with football players of Dinamo Brest stopped near the stadium. Absolutely all players were searched thoroughly, their things were put on a table, and boots were almost X-rayed. Even requests of the trainer to fix this absurdity were futile.

“It’s simply a field circus, – Dinamo defender Pavel Chelyadko is fuming. – They see that it’s a team marching, and still they searched us and turned over all our things. I think nothing of the kind had happened to any team of the Premier League.”

Football players of Salihorsk Shakhter were allowed to the stadium without a search. The game ended in a victory of Dinamo, 3:2.
