Russian Federation Pilot Disclosed Military Secret To Belarusian Journalist

76

Why have the newest Russian bombers come fly to Baranavichy?

Last week Russian bombers Su-34 flew over Baranavichy, Intex-press writes. As they explained in the 61st fighter airbase, there were joint flights of Russian and Belarusian military pilots. Experts do not exclude that the Russian bombers came fly to Baranavichy in connection with large-scale NATO exercises in Poland.

It is curious how the journalists have managed to scout the neighboring country’s aircrafts’ arrival.

On June 15, a young man named Denis (the name has been changed by the editors) wrote a personal message to an Intex-press correspondent in social networks. The young man suggested to meet. He said he came to Baranavichy from Russia in his professional capacity. And he explained: “we are protecting your country’s interests in connection with the military exercises conducted by NATO forces in Poland.”

From 7 to 17 June, large-scale exercises of the alliance called “Anaconda-2016” were indeed held in Poland. Observers attribute these exercises to the preparation of repelling an assault from Russia.

Denis’s page appeared to be a newly made one. He was posing in the Russian military form on some of the photos. There were some pictures taken in Baranavichy on the page, but there he was wearing civilian clothes.

“I work on a Su-34” – Denis wrote, when the journalist asked him to tell more about what he was doing in Baranavichy. He attached a photo of three aircrafts at the airport to his message. And he added: “This is a Su-34. You have none of them, only Su-27 and Su-24 planes.”

Denis often attached photos of the airdrome to his messages. For example, he sent a photo of a chevron with the Russian flag and an aircraft badge on the sleeve of his jacket, a photo of his cap, photos of the aircrafts.

The man told that together with other Russian military men he was living in the Horizon hotel. The journalist asked whether he was a pilot, and what exactly he was going to do for his job in Baranavichy.

“That's classified. What if you're a spy,” – he said.

S-5S UNDER THE WING

Denis wrote that he had arrived from Volgograd. But later he sent a photo of his car with registration numbers of Voronezh region. Most likely, the military arrived not from Volgograd, but from Voronezh. The side numbers of the bombers shot by our photographers in Baranavichy, coincide with the side numbers of aircrafts belonging to the 7000-th Aviation Base. It is located on the Voronezh Baltimore military airdrome.

“Go out on the street –24 crafts are working work in the sky, it’s very cool. There is an air combat imitation, a very beautiful one. And under the wing there are four S-5S blocks,” – the military wrote the next day.

Indeed, at that point there was some roar of aircraft engines in the sky, but because of the clouds it was difficult to see what was happening. The journalist asked Denis what was the “S-5S”.

“They are control blocks. Such information is confidential. We have thrown some today. Only shhh!” – he answered.

Perhaps, Denis meant unguided missiles with fragmentation warheads S-5S. They are used for manpower extermination.

It was impossible to find out, how many Russian soldiers were taking part in the Baranavichy exercises. According to Denis, a company of 16 Russian military men visited the Nero nightclub in Baranavichy. On June 16, in the evening, Denis wrote that soon they would fly back. And he hasn’t got in touch since then.
