In the first half a year, the Belarusian oil products sellers reoriented the “Western” sales of petrol and fuel oil residue.

In all, the United Kingdom which used to be the biggest purchaser of the Belarusian oil products upon the results of the year 2015 moved to the third place. It was surpassed by Ukraine and the Netherlands, ej.by writes.

According to the data provided by the Belarusian Statistics Committee, in January-June 2016, the volumes of shipment of oil products to the British market decreased by 71,6% compared to the same period last year. The total cost of the Belarusian fuel export to this country amounted to $563,7 million.

Ukraine became the leader in purchases, the volumes of shipments there grew by 3,5% — up to $823,4 million.

The Netherlands became the biggest purchaser of petrol and fuel oil residue from Belarus to the EU. Fuel for $657,2 million was loaded to this country in the first half a year, which is 118,8% more compared to the first half of 2015.

Lithuania occupied the fourth place with the volume of purchases amounting to $146,9 million. This is almost 20% less than last year.

The shipments to Poland grew by 3,1 times in comparison with the first half of last year. Poland became the fifth largest export market. The production with the total cost being $111,3 million went to the neighbouring country.

Then goes Latvia ($57 million) and Russia ($53,5 million). The shipments to the Baltic state decreased by 45%, to Russia — for over 60%.

The volumes of shipment to Serbia, which used to be in the top-8 of Belarusian oil products buyers upon the results of the year 2015, shrank to the minimum. In 2015, the production with the total cost of $74 million was shipped to the Balkan state, and in the first half of this year it was only $500 thousand.
