Saladukha Failed To Raise Money For New Album

Despite of appearing in a pink suit with angel wings in an underground walkway, the singer collected only 1.5 thousand rubles instead of forty.

On Friday, October 21, the “Marathon of Love” crowdfunding campaign, led by Aliaksandr Saladukha, was finished. The singer wanted to collect 40 thousand rubles for the recording of the new ”We'll Be Together” album, but at the time of writing he managed to collect only 1591 rubles, telegraf.by informs.

Aliaksandr Saladukha promised to twist the 45 days of the “Marathon of Love” into a “marathon of love madness” and, what concerns madness, he pretty much kept his word. He surprised by his sudden appearance in the subway, on the Line of Stalin, Dzmitry Kahno’s wedding, at the opening of the week of Italian cinema and even at the BTRC studio.

According to crowdfunding site Ulej.by, all the payments will be returned to the sponsors.

“I see this campaign as a new stage of my career, fitting a new image and the possibility of reincarnation. Money has never been the key factor. I like to make something new, something that nobody has ever done before. I like to cheer people up, to make them smile, and, of course, to express my love.

My album, as I promised at the beginning of the campaign, regardless of the results, will be released by the end of this year.
