Another Worker Died At Belaruskali

A shaft worker, born in 1994, was crushed by machinery in a critical condition.

The tragedy occurred at the 2nd mine of the enterprise. It was reported by the largest Salihorsk community in the social network Vkontakte.

"According to unconfirmed information, at about 8:30 today, in one of the horizons with the sinking slope on the fourth level, a combined machine killed by its shearing unit one of the workers of the trust “Shahtaspetsstroi” Illia S., born in 1994. The rest of the information will be only from the official source. We express our condolences to the family of the deceased,” – the statement reads.

One of the participants in the forum under the nickname Artyom gave the details of the tragedy:

“The shearing unit of the combine machine fell off and crushed down on him, it’s a bolted structure, most likely no one checked over the machinery before starting, did not comply with safety regulations. The shearing unit weighs a lot, especially on the move.”

It is to be recalled that on October 26, a cradle with five workers fell down during the construction of a new warehouse at Belaruskali. As a result, one worker was killed and two others were taken to hospital.
