"I’ll Work It Out": Lukashenka Kissed Order, Presented By Aliyev

The ruler of Azerbaijan presented the Belarusian dictator an award named after his father.

Ilham Aliyev awarded the Order of Heydar Aliyev to Lukashenka. As the news agency BelTA notes, the Order of Heydar Aliyev is awarded infrequently.

"Ilham, I'm very grateful for our friendship. Believe me, I appreciate it very much, I’ll work it out," – said the governor, accepting the award.

Foreign citizens are awarded this order for "outstanding services to Azerbaijan, for their outstanding achievements in the implementation of the Azerbaijani ideas, strengthening of Solidarity of Azerbaijanis of the world, for outstanding achievements in promoting political, economic, scientific and cultural relations of Azerbaijan with other countries."
