Belarus Foreign Affairs Ministry Demands Polish Authorities To Stop Supporting Charter97.org Website

Activities of the leading Belarusian independent website are at risk.

One of the officials of the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Belarus has told to the editor-in-chief of charter97.org Natallia Radzina that at the moment the Belarusian authorities are taking efforts to make the independent website charter97.org cease its activities.

It is planned to block the website for Internet users inside the country, and the Belarusian Foreign Affairs Ministry demands European ministries and foundations to stop financial support of the website charter97.org.

As long as the editorial office of the website works in Warsaw at the moment, special pressure is exerted on Polish authorities.

We remind that just recently the EU sanctions have been lifted from the Belarusian regime.
