Belarus Ranks 45th Among World Armies

The international rating of military strength, Global Firepower Index, has published its new research results.

According to military experts, in the end of March 2016 the top ten countries of the world in terms of military strength are the following:

1 - The United States of America (North America)

2 - Russia (Asia)

3 - China (Asia)

4 - India (Asia)

5 - The United Kingdom (Europe)

6 - France (Europe)

7 - South Korea (Asia)

8 - Germany (Europe)

9 - Japan (Asia)

10 - Turkey (Asia)

Belarus takes the 45th position in the rating. Myanmar goes one position earlier, and Ethiopia follows Belarus. The neighbouring Ukraine has the 25th position in the rating, while Poland – the 19th.

As the authors of the rating say, in their research they used open sources, including reports of military agencies and intelligence communities.
